Meeting Minutes
The Pack Bowling Party is scheduled for January 15th. Forms and money was due tonight. Bowling will be at Maple Heights Lanes. The cost is $5/person, scouts bowl free. Cost includes bowling, shoes, pizza and pop. If you still want to go and have not turned in your form contact your Den Leader before Sunday night (January 8th).
Three separate sessions:
10:00am – 12:00pm Dens 1, 3, 4, 10,
12:30pm - 2:30pm Dens 6, 9, 11, 12
3:00pm - 5:00pm Dens 5, 8, 13
Please come during your den's assigned session.
Scouting Ski Days at Brandywine/Boston Mills February 18, 19 & 20th. You will need a special ticket to get the rate of $35ski/$40snowboard. If interested the special ticket price is $1 each person and Mike Perry will get the tickets from the Scout Shop. Bring your money and requests to the January Pack meeting and we will have the tickets at the February planning meeting. See the website for more info.
Need pictures for the Blue & Gold. Each Webelos II scout families need to send electronic (JPG) files of baby and growing up pictures to their leaders for integration into the computer presentation during the Arrow of Light Awards. Also, Bill Sekela is collecting electronic picture files of candid Pack activity shots for the slide show during the dinner. Send JPG files to Bill at locutus61@alltel.net or send a CD disk to him at the January Pack Meeting or February Planning Meetings.
Harvey Wood is the special guest at the January Pack Meeting. He is an entertaining speaker that teaches family safety. This may be a long meeting due to the large amount of awards to be given out. Deadline for awards to Beth Meyer is January 9th.
Blue & Gold preparations continue for the February event. Theme this year is “Cubs in the Future”. This year we will have Polaroid shots of each scout. Forms and money are due at the January Pack Meeting. The Bayer award will be voted upon at the next Parent Planning Meeting. Catering by Alesci’s. Each den needs to perform a skit after dinner.
The menu will include:
Chicken
Pasta
Salad
Rolls & Butter
Desserts (brought by the families to share)
Pinewood Derby car kits will be handed our to den leaders at the February Parent Planning Meeting.
Planning a visit to a marble museum for a Pack activity in April.
