Summer’s winding down, school is back in session and Bath Pack 3385 is gearing up for the 2007-2008 scouting year. We will be kicking off our new year at the first pack meeting on Thursday, September 18th. Please note that this first meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall, Bath Church. Outback Ray and some of his four-legged (and sometimes more) friends will be providing entertainment for our returning scouts and new recruits.
At this meeting we will start the process of handing out the order forms for this year’s popcorn fundraiser and discuss many of the activities planned for the upcoming scouting year. Coming soon will be the master calendar of activities for the upcoming scouting year. In planning these events, we considered many of the ideas solicited from scouts and parents. Please remember to bring your checkbook as we will be collecting dues for this year. Note that there will be NO increase in dues for scouting this year.
This year the Pack will follow up this first meeting with a family camp fire on Saturday, September 20th at Camp Manatoc. This will be a fun way for families and scouts to reconnect and hear more details about the exciting incentives and prizes of this year’s popcorn campaign. More information, including directions, will be provided as we approach this date. So, please mark your calendars for the 18th and 20th and we look forward to seeing you then.
