PHOTOS FROM THE WISSAHICKON GORGE
Four families participated in our Wissahickon Gorge hike on 12/13/2008. We had a few siblings and even a friend come along with us as we hiked the trail to the famous Indian statue in the Gorge. Thanks to the Beltz family for teaching us all about Geocaching, which is a cool sport that is basically a treasure hunt. We tracked the location of a known cache with a GPS (global positioning system) unit. Using clues and sharp eyesight, we explored and found some really cool things. Sorry! We can't give you all the details, because we have to make sure that "Muggles" don't disturb the cache. Our Webelos even went on to discover a second cache, too!
We have lots of pictures. Check them out!
