COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

TREASURER’S REPORT : Rebecca
1. Report is for 2 mos. transactions from July 1- August 31
2. $300.00 Council for advancements
3. DNB acct. $508.28
4. Paypal $52.00 +/-
C.O.R. REPORT – Wayne
1. CPC – floors were just refinished, passing on request to refrain from sliding chairs on the
floor.
2. Boy Scouts are participating in the Patriot’s Day Commemoration on Sept. 11. They have teams of 2 boys set up to go to area fire companies. Anyone is welcome to join the teams.
CUBMASTER REPORT : Earl
1. Please update the website with den meeting schedules, activities and pictures. If having difficulty please advise Earl and he will update for you.
2. Need to know when the next Den meeting is for each den. Would like to have this information so when interested scouts and families inquire where and when he can have this at hand when doing the next recruiting event.
3. Recruiting Event is Tues. Sept. 16 @ CPC 7-8PM. Leaders please have an activity ready for interested boys to participate in.
4. Since May we have added 11 boys. Need 8 boys to meet the “Drive for 5” which means a total of 54 by November 17 and pack will qualify to get free pinewood derby cars .
5. Sept. 30th pack meeting:
Shark Patrol - Gathering
Den 6 – Opening
Den 2 – Cleanup
Cobra Patrol – Snack
6. Patriot’s Day. Earl has asked permission from Collegium School for the boys to be able to wear their uniforms to school on Sept. 11. Permission was granted.

POPCORN REPORT: Todd
1. Emailing the Show-n-Sell schedule. Need to have people fill in where needed. Check the website for updates.
2. Sept. 11 is popcorn pick up for the show-n-sell and need a second car. Rebecca will be helping with pick up.
EVENTS PACK – Michele
1. Roundtable – Sept. 9, CPC, 7:30
2. Popcorn Show – n –sell begins Sept 13-14
3. Scout Night at West Chester University is on the 20th of Sept $2 per person. Money due this weekend. Great fun for the boys to participate in!
4. October Winter Weekend Camping Trip scheduled for 10-12th unsuccessful in making the reservation.
5. October Pack Mtg. is the 21st – One week early due to popcorn event.
EVENTS COUNCIL - Michele
1. Patriot’s Day Commemoration on Sept. 11th. There are 3 phases in this event. Realizing this has come up quickly. It is acceptable for the boys to participate in 2 of the 3 phases. phase 3 we can participate @ the Brandywine Battlefield 6-6:30pm. Those whom participate will receive a special patch.
2. Run For Scouting on Sept. 21 – 5k run or 1 mile walk. Shark Patrol will be participating in the event. You can register online for discount.
3. Learn Not to Burn – October 10-12 at the Kimberton Fire Co. Check online for the days events. $15 per person for the day or the weekend.
4. Camp Hall-O-Ware: Halloween events to be scheduled at Camp Ware. More information to follow.

WRAP UP:
*Again, need date of when your next den meeting is for the recruiting event on the 16th.
*Vote on Committee meetings: Change or keep Sundays as meeting day. In agreement to keep Sunday as the meeting day.
