WaWa Popcorn Sale 10/15 and 10/22

Popcorn Sale is in progress.
The Popcorn sale is the Pack's only fundraiser. The dues do not provide enough funds for all the activities that we have planned. Scouts can participate in two ways; "Show and Deliver" sales and "Take Order and Show" sales
We will run four "Show and Deliver" sales during the month of October; two at Starbucks and two at WaWa (see schedule below). We will have the popcorn with us, collect the cash and give the customer the popcorn.
Each scout will do "Take Order and Show" sales where and when they choose. Typically done door to door in scout's neighborhood, scout takes order in October and will deliver the popcorn in November. Remember, each scout should be accompanied by a parent when doing door to door sales. See your den leader or Mike Packer if you need a sales packet.

Please volunteer and be generous with your time. We will need a minimum of 8 scouts and 4 parents for each sale. Contact Mike Packer at mikepacker@verizon.net to sign up for a shift.
Please remember these popcorn selling guidelines:
1)Always wear your uniform; for both Show and Deliver and Take Order and Show
2)We will ask everyone who enters the store
3)The best approach is: Hi, I'm_________(first name only) and I'm with Pack 284. We're selling popcorn to help raise money for our Pack. Will you help us? Rehearse this a few times.
4)Be polite to everyone and thank everyone. Some people won't buy any popcorn, say Thank You anyway.
5)We have popcorn for sale from $7 to $50. You will quickly learn about the different types.
Finally, we will donate a percentage of our sales to a Pack that was impacted by Hurricane Katrina.
