Friends of Scouting Fundraiser Presentation

Attention parents, on Friday, March 24 at our Pack Meeting (7pm at St. Stan's Gym) a volunteer from our district will be asking for your support of the Friends of Scouting program. The Friends of Scouting program is our council's fundraiser to support our council camps, properties, insurance for every leader and Scout, and training courses for leaders to ensure safety and full delivery of the program.
While the annual fee to Council for the Scouting Program is only $10, the Cradle of Liberty Council spends close to $147 per Scout when all factors are combined. In the past, only 14% of our families have supported our council efforts and this year we are hoping our unit can do much better. We are looking to improve participation so any amount of support will be graciously accepted. We do ask, however, that you consider a $10/month pledge. Anyone who pledges this amount will receive the traditional Council strip. This year's theme is "Brave" seeing that it is the tenth year of this promotion. Thank you for your consideration for supporting our council.
