Year End Picnic Fun! (2006)
We finished our 2005-2006 Cub Scout year with an old fashioned picnic at the park.
While food was prepared and arranged, many children had fun playing baseball and running about the playground. Once everything was ready, all enjoyed their fill of food. Kosher hot dogs, side dishes, and desserts were in abundance.
Our group then moved to the amphitheatre for cub awards and advancements. First each den received individual awards such as belt loops, sports & academic pins, world conservation awards, and webelos activity pins. Then boys in each den received their rank badges. All cubs in attendence were then promoted - Tigers became Wolves, Wolves to Bears, and Bears to Webelos.
We look forward to a fun filled summer. Join us next year for a continuation of the fun and learning!
