Scouts Learn About Companion Dogs At September Pack Meeting
September 2004 - Our guests at this pack meeting were Companion Dog trainers and their student dogs from the Richmond area.
Companion dogs are trained to work for people with disabilities. After graduating from "college" these dogs will be able to work light switches, push wheel chairs, give money to cashiers, retrieve remotes and ringing telephones, answer and open doors, and more!
