October Pack Meeting Was A High Flyer! Check Out The Photos
October 14, 2003 -- We had a great crowd of Scouts and parents turn out for our tribute to the Centennial of the first Wright Brothers flight.
Pack dad, Brian Ellis, made a presentation to the boys about the history of flight, from the Wright Brothers on up to modern day space exploration.
Mr. Ellis also gave the boys a sneak peek into the Centennial events planned for this December, including a recreation of the famous flight in Kitty Hawk.
The boys then broke into groups and created their own paper airplanes which they used in 3 challenges: landing on an aircraft carrier, flying through a hoop, and stunt flying around a corner.
Snacks were provided by Webelos Den 4.
See everybody at November's pack meeting!
