Webelos Ready For The Pit Crew!
January 13, 2004 -
At the first January den meeting, the Webelos completed their Handyman badge requirements by getting a hands-on introduction to basic car maintenance.
The boys learned how to:
1) Change a tire
2) Replace a headlight bulb
3) Check the oil
Thanks to Dr. Hoffman who donated the use of his car for the meeting and helped to lead the boys. The Scouts found that he had no oil showing on his dipstick and that the tire they removed had a nail in it! So Dr. Hoffman wound up receiving valuable auto care, at no charge!
Great meeting, boys! See everybody at the Pinewood Derby!
