Between a Rock and a Hard Place
Mr Carlson helped the Webelos IIs earn their Geologist activity pin. They learned how rocks and minerals are used in many different products, from road-building to housing. They learned how our mountains were formed and why there are NO fossils here. He showed the Scouts some really big fossils he has collected. Each Scout came away with an appreciation of Geology and a grab bag collection of their own rock/mineral specimens. Thank you, Mr. Carlson!
