Be Ready
The Bear Scouts worked on the requirements for Achievement 11. They discussed what to do in the case of an emergency at home (Ach. 11a), what to do in case of a water accident (Ach. 11b), what to do in a bus or car accident (Ach. 11c & 11d), and they talked about Courage (Ach. 11g).
To finish earning Achievement 11, the Scouts should plan and practice a home fire drill (Ach. 11e).
The Bears also started a home emergency kit. Once the boys finish this kit, they will have completed all the requirements to earn the Emergency Preparedness Award.
