Blue & Gold
We are gathered here today in our Cub Scouting Kingdom to recognize the hard work our knights have done to complete their achievement requirements. You boys should be proud of your accomplishments, as you earn your rank.
We have the privilege of watching as you take a step toward toward next station on the Cub Scout trail and beyond to Boy Scouts.
Will the Order of the Bear please come forward with their Akela. These Cub Scouts have been tested and found worthy of the Order of the Bear. In the name of Akela, I dub thee members of the Order of the Bear. Your family will present you with your badge of knighthood!
Please remove your neckerchiefs & slides. The Webelos program has more challenges ahead for you. The plaid neckerchief you will wear is multi-colored, combining the blue & gold of Cub Scouts with the red & green of Boy Scouts.
(Each Bear passes through the arch where he receives new neckerchief/slide, rings bell & is rec’d on the other side by the Webelos leader.)
