Green Up Day
Each year since 1970, Vermont has held Green Up Day on the first Saturday in May. Last year, 40,000 bags of trash were collected from the roadsides of our beautiful state.
This year, Cub Scout Pack 330 collected 20 bags of trash along Rod & Gun Club Road and more from Buck Hill with the help of some members of Boy Scout Troop 353.
This conservation project was the final task for 4 members of the new Webelos I den to earn their Cub Scout World Conservation Award. Congratulations, boys!
Not a bad job for about an hour of service!
