Important Service Project
We, the Cub Scouts of Pack 330, were asked if we could provide a service project of some importance Saturday 6/20/2009 starting at about 8:00 AM.
As you may have read in the Bennington Banner, local EMT Dale Long lost his life while trying to save another life. His service was Saturday 6/20/09 at 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, the company providing the chairs could not get them to the gym at Southern Vermont College until 8:00 AM and help was needed in setting up the estimated 600 chairs. Mr Doucette was contacted and he thought of the Pack.
I want to thank the families of Cub Scout Pack 330 and Boy Scout Troop 353 for attending and making such short work of setting up the chairs. I know the assistance was truly appreciated!
