Den Meeting - Showman
The Webelos created paper sack puppets and put together bird marionettes. Then they read and "acted" out a play with the marionettes. This fulfills the following requirements:
Showman #3 - Make a set of puppets or marionettes for the play you have written or for another play.
Showman #5 - Alone or with the help of others, put on a puppet show for your den or pack.
The Scouts received a Geologist worksheet to fill in and return to Mrs Doucette at the Halloween Pack Meeting. This completes the requirements for:
Geology belt loop
Geologist #9 - While you are a Webelos Scout, earn the Cub Scout Academics belt loop for Geology.
Mr. Doucette also handed out "YOU ALONE in the NORTH WOODS - The Lost Hunter's Guide" , a hunter's practical guide to woods comfort, safety, and survival.
