POPCORN SALE

This is IT!
Our big fundraiser! Our ONLY fundraiser!
For these few days in October our efforts must focus on the selling of popcorn. Did you have fun on the sailing trip? Do you enjoy overnight camping? Does your son look forward to the Pinewood Derby? To presentations from explorers, meteorologists, and naturalists? To patches, crafts, and snacks? Our popcorn sale makes ALL of this possible. Aside from the infrequent dues and fees required from parents, this is our ONLY income. We do not receive funds from Donges Bay, the national BSA office, etc. This is it.
Please refer to your registration contract - this year there are REQUIREMENTS in terms of popcorn sales!
The boys will be awarded prizes at the end of the Sale, at a Pack gathering - we have opted OUT of the prizes shown in your order forms. The boys will instead have a number of purchased and donated prizes to choose from, and will choose in order of Popcorn Sale rank, like a draft. Will they go for the electronics? The Prince Fielder autographed baseball? The Pinewood tools and tool box? The Bucks tickets? The Lego?
First they need to sell!
Be creative!
Ask neighbors to send popcorn to the troops abroad.
Ask out-of-town family and friends to order - it's easy!
Ask employers and business leaders to consider buying popcorn as they plan holiday gifts for clients, patrons, partners, coworkers, etc.
The popcorn sale ends when you hand in your sheet, and all sheets must be in my (Dave's) hands by the evening of October 27th.
Popcorn is distributed November 13th and 14th, and then delivered by scouts to their customers.
All payments are collected at that time.
All payments must be submitted by November 20th.
