| The toboggan runs at Lowell are 350 feet long! |
WINTER OVERNIGHT + Adventure Rocks!
Date: 2/20/10 - 2/21/10
Time: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
Location: Adventure Rock
The Winter Overnight will be in a climbing gym!
First we have private use of the twin toboggan runs at Waukesha's Lowell Park, dinner near the warming house, cocoa and the whole bit. We'll meet at Lowell, near Waukesha North HS, at 6:30pm sharp. Dinner included!
The runs are a famous, classic Milwaukee experience. Lit at night, they are 350 feet long. Sledding and skating are also there for you enjoyment at Lowell Park.
Then we go climb the walls!
Adventure Rock is an indoor climbing facility, the largest in Wisconsin. They teach Boy Scouts Climbing Merit Badge and lead trips to Devil's Lake, among other things. They can handle dozens of climbing boys AND leaders on walls designed for EVERY age and ability.
Check it out!
We arrive after 8pm and have it to ourselves after 10pm for craziness. No early bedtimes this night! Music, pizza, treats, and monkey-business. Bring sleeping bags, a pillow, a pad to sleep on, and maybe ear plugs for the adults. We should have separate space for moms, too. In the morning they serve a "light breakfast" and then they kick us out.
Please let me know if you can come!
