Our Pack is based in New Cumberland, West Virginia but we have boys from many different schools including New Manchester, Weirton, and we even have one that comes all the way from Toronto, Ohio. No matter if you live next door or 30 minutes away you are welcome to join us!
A few notes about Pack 39:
We always welcome new members.
We Meet At New Cumberland Christian Church Monday nights from 6:30-8:00.
As your Cub Master I can assure you we pride ourselves on communication and
planning first and foremost.
Your son will come first. We understand that you can’t make every meeting, and we will work with you to make up whatever your son missed that night.
We are very involved with many activities each month
Our Webpage is updated weekly.
Many of our leaders and parents have grown up with scouting. Most of our leaders were Boy Scouts themselves, or have a back ground in scouting in general.
We work with Boy Scout Troop #31 In Weirton and Troop #38 in New Cumberland and have a very good working relationship with them. Troop 31 has provided us with 2 Boy Scouts from there troop that works with our boys as Den Chiefs.
We have an Committee made up of leaders and parents that meet once a month to plan out future events, and to address any issues a parent may have.
Our leaders are "Trained" and receive their "Trained" certifications which means they are qualified, understand the program well and most of all are committed!
Our Leaders also attend the Two Chiefs district monthly Roundtable meetings, where they meet with other leaders from other packs and get very great Scouting information.
We have an awesome and growing Committee of parents involved with our Pack.
We have awesome outdoor events.
If you have other questions let us know. You are welcome to drop by one of our Den Meetings or Pack Meetings and simply watch and witness how we run our meetings. Our Cub Master or any Den Leader can also speak to you via email/phone and answer questions.
So come join us! As we grow we look forward to new experiences and great memories and hope you will become a part of our Pack!
